Jail-Madhur Bhandarkar’s latest film released today. Before this, a plea filed in the High Court by a lady called Sushila Sharma crying that Jail was based on her film was rejected.

Apparently, Sharma’s movie never saw light of the day. So there was no basis to confirm any copyright violation.

Madhur’s lawyers were quick to point out that if the movie promos were running since past two months why did the lady wait to file the plea a day before the release of the movie.

In addition, HC judges observed this as a clear case of blackmail just before the movie could hit theatres.
