Abdullah will not join a government headed by President Hamid Karzai

Hamid-Karzai-Kabul: Pointing to the differences over President Hamid Karzai’s leadership and style of governance,

former Afghan Foreign Minister Abdullah Abdullah said he will not join a unity government headed by Karzai.

Abdullah said Afghanistan needed “real change”.

Asked if he was under pressure from the international community to reconsider his opposition, Abdullah said he would take decisions only in the interests of Afghanistan.
