After surpassing Dell, Acer eyes on HP

Dell-Acer-New Delhi: As of September quarter, HP with a market share of 20.2 percent remains the largest vendor.

Acer beat the second positioned Dell by acquiring 14 percent and leaving Dell with 12.7, hence Acer now becomes the second largest vendor.

With the speed at which Acer is going, it seems that Acer is now looking at the world’s number one PC maker, Hewlett Packard.

Recently, Mr. J.T. Wang, Acer Chairman has indicated that it will ship over 40 million notebooks in 2010, a number that would challenge the top position of HP in the portable PC sales.
