As RIM has said in a statement, the BlackBerry Storm2 will be distributed by Verizon Wireless starting with October 28. Besides, the company’s officials have declared about the release of BlackBerry OS 5.0.
The new operating system incorporates a whole bunch of new features. Thus, the BlackBerry Storm2 going with OS 5.0 is promised to give users an absolutely new touchscreen experience.
The Storm2 can boast with a smooth design and premium polish with sloped edges, chrome accents, glass lens and stainless steel backplate. It also possess a 3.25-inch screen that demonstrates a resolution of 480 x 360 pixels.
Navigation demands almost no efforts as the handset incorporates the SurePress technology. Among other evident advantages Storm2 has 56MB of Flash memory, 3.2 megapixel camera, 3.5 mm stereo headset jack and support for Wi-Fi and EV-DO.
