Buffalo Releases 12x Blu-ray


blurayBuffalo unveiled 12x Blu-ray burner that is based on USB 3.0. It is possible to use it with computers that run Windows 7.

12x Blu-ray burner comes with up to 12x speed for writing a single or dual layer Blu-ray disc BR-X1216U3 and it is based on USB 3.0 standard, due to which the writing time diminishes. But it is also compatible with USB 2.0 connections.

The device provides the “Save Upscaling” capability, moreover, the Standard Definition content can be seen in HD style. It is possible to use Blu-ray burner with 32-bit or 64-bit Windows 7 operating system.

It is available for 39,100 Yen in Japan that will be about $449 (Rs. 21,600 approx.). If you are ready to spend the money, go and purchase 12x Blu-ray burner. Last year reviewed Buffalo 8x MediaStation External Blu-ray writer could be bought for Rs. 45,000. Despite the fact that the price diminished, it is underpriced if compare with the same products but of different manufactures.
