Dell released a new ultra portable Vostro V13 notebook that is looked like Dell Adamo XPS. It comes with 0.65 inch (16.5mm) thick profile, and its weight is around 1.6kg. The device has ultra-low voltage processors. The starting price of Dell Vostro V13 is Rs. 28,500 in India.

It has aluminum chassis and it is equipped with 1.2GHz Intel Celeron processors. Dell laso provides Core 2 Solo and Core 2 Duo processors as an option. It is possible to add up to 4GB DDR3 1066MHz memory with up to 500GB storage. Graphics are backed up with Intel GMA 4500MHD. One can avail the device with Ubuntu Linux 9.04 as well as Windows 7 OS.

Vostro V13 notebook features with 13.3-inch LED Backlight HD display that provides the resolution of 1366×768. It also has a1.3 megapixel webcam, Antivirus suite and Wireless card to Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. all models are available with 6-cell lithium-ion battery.

It is expected that the laptop will be available in India in thee first months of the next year.
