Google Needs to Create a Universal Software Platform

googleGoogle released more than a dozen phones through 2010, moreover, all of them are provided with various software platforms, but those developer that create games refused to make future plans concerning multiple platforms.

As for Android, it has the backup as well as the flexibility, various control schemes and each version has its own price.

According to Gameloft, the company decided to curtail its investment in Android platform. Also Google was not good at alluring customers in order they started to purchase products. Moreover, nobody got significant income.

What is more, many customers were interested in variety. Touchscreen as well as iPhone-comparable smartphones were available from Nokia and Motorola. Apple’s two-size-fits-all mentality offers convenience to such users as tech-challenged soccer moms, older adults, and other groups that may felt isolated by the hundreds of phone models that were manufactured annually. At present it is very comfortable for gamers to buy a device because they know what software is able to work on it.

Nowadays the Google Android offers the modern video game models that are established by well-known consoles, i.e. Nintendo Wii, Sony PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Xbox 360.

Apple has more than 100,000 apps among which a large percentage are considered to be video games. As for Google, the company has to create a universal software platform in order not to be out of the game.
