Google Purchased AppJet
Google propagandizes such traditional productivity software as word processors online for that reason the company purchased a small company known as AppJet. The purchase of Google appeared to be on Friday. What is more, both companies are going to work on real-time collaboration joining the Google Wave team
AppJet provided versions of its service that were free of charge. Such versions could import Microsoft Word documents, Web pages, PDFs, and plain text files also users are able to edit them on pad.
Google Wave is in some ways has the same features as it is a combination of instant messaging, wikis, and e-mail.
But real-time collaboration is considered to be a difficult problem. It can be a problem to allow multiple people permission to edit the same document within the same period of time. Also there is another problem concerning simultaneous work that embarrasses a service’s user interface.
Google Docs is an online word processor spreadsheet, and presentation services. It provides some kind of synchronous editing abilities.
Google Wave and Google Docs are considered to be competitors of AppJet, but inreleity the competition exists between cloud computing and the way many people use productivity software today on their PCs. For that reason Microsoft wants to launch an online version of its outstanding Office suite.
