googleGoogle made the second purchase of another display ad company this month.

The search giant provides personalized display ads but the amount of the purchase that made Google is unknown. The company spent $750m for AdMob earlier this month and turned over display ads to different mobile devices among them iPhone.

There are claims of Teracent such as having an ability to put in order adverts according to computer analysis of early response to various elements of the banner. It also provides analytics software due to which it will be possible to process the numbers produced by the ads.

According to Google’s blog, Teracent’s technology is able to select among thousands of creative elements of ad in real-time, adjusting images, products, messages or even colors. Such factors as geographic location, language, the content of the website, the time of day or the past performance of different ads influence on these elements and according to such factors the elements are able to optimize.

Privately-held Teracent was introduced in 2006. It was established by a 26-year veteran of Inktomi and managers from Yahoo and Advertising.com.
