If You Don’t Have Guitar, Take Advantage of Power Gig: Rise of the Sixstring
Players can become closer to the well-known music game genre with the help of a new twist, i.e. Power Gig: Rise of the Sixstring. It is equipped with a guitar controller and has real strings.
Seven45 Studios unveiled the game on Tuesday. In fact, Power Gig resembles such games as Rock Band and Guitar Hero. It offers “beat-match” style play and the task of a player is to match the onscreen beats with their instruments.
The game provides a new mode of play according to which players should suppress particular strings in order to play actual chords.
One should say that Power Gig: Rise of the Sixstring is regarded as a wonderful option for those who are fond of Guitar Hero-type games and even for those who are not ready to spend extra money in order to get a game controller that is not so useful. The guitars in Power Gig will be available in various sizes and will be offered in standard quarter-inch instrument jacks.
This game is not a good option, in case you want to learn playing guitar, it is better to choose Roch Band. One should mention that the game will be compatible with Guitar Hero as well as Rock Band.
It is expected that the game will be launched this fall for PS3 and Xbox 360.
