As Ali Anwar Ansari, who participated in the special political and decolonization committee’s discussion on “International Cooperation In The Peaceful Uses of Outer Space”, reported, there would be first planetary missions. They will be succeeded by Chandrayaan-2.

There is also a debate on launching a human space flight program.

To show that India shares the United Nations’ attempts for raising the awareness of space-based benefits, developing countries were encouraged to benefit from India’s expertise in the space field.

Ansari added that over 800 scholars from 31 countries of the Asia-Pacific region and almost 30 scholars from 17 countries outside the region have already taken advantage of the activities of the UN affiliated Centre for Space Science and Technology Education for Asia and Pacific Region.
