ISRO set to send men in space
Chennai: Taking its space conquering missions a step ahead, the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) is all set to send two Indians to the space.
These astronauts would be traveling aboard a spacecraft to moon.
Director ISRO Satellite Centre, Dr T.K. Alex informed “He has to be physically good, mentally strong and should be able to take challenges. So there are so many criteria to select an astronaut.
Anybody meeting those criteria and passing those tests is a candidate, any Indian.”.
This would the most ambitious space programme from ISRO after the Chandrayaan I and Chandrayaan II. There is a hoard of scientist sending in applications for the space trip.
