Microsoft introduced a new Office version
Microsoft wanted to attract more users of Office programs and proposed new software for the PC. It is an edition “Starter” for Office, which will shortly be installed on your PC.
A Microsoft representative said that in the initial version some opportunities will be limited; there will be Excel and Word only. This application will become part of the new Office 2010 family, which will be released next year. It can be downloaded only on new PCs.
This application will become an alternative to Microsoft Works. This program was budget application for those users who wish to ensure their PC base software. Microsoft also worked in recent years with the free version of Microsoft Works.
Office Starter will have a complete file compatibility with the Works. It will also serve as a ribbon user interface.
Click to Run is an additional advantage. It consists in the fact that it is done simply through using of virtualization. Codes thus work at the local level, and the new application works in conjunction with an existing edition of Office. In turn, this allows the user to run a version of Office 2010 for testing without removing their current Office version.
