On Monday it was announced by the governmental telecom operator Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd (MTNL) that it was going to provide users with new 3G prepaid connections. It would cost Rs 209 in its Mumbai circle.

It was stated that new subscribers would be able to get 3G Tariff that would give a possibility to use local voice and video call. Such service would cost 20 paise per minute on own local network, also it would be possible to connect to other local networks in Mumbai telecom circle and the price would be 50 paise per minute.

With the help of 3G technology users will be able to have a high speed internet access, furthermore they can download various songs, movies and data.

MTNL is considered to be the operator in Delhi and Mumbai, it offers 3G service known under ‘Jadoo’ brand.

According to MTNL the new connection is provided with 25 minute of free video call, 25 MB of data that can be used for free and talk time for Rs 25.
