News Broad Partnership of the Three Companies: Cisco Systems, EMC and VMware

ciscoOn Tuesday Cisco Systems, EMC and VMware announced about their broad partnership – the Virtual Computing Environment (VCE) coalition. The goal of the partnership is to evolve united cloud-computing products known as Vblock Infrastructure Packages. Such brand produces servers, networking, storage and virtualization software for data centers. A joint-venture company called Acadia was launched by the partners in order it would be possible to conduct and then transfer data centers based on Vblock.

According to Steve Leonard, president of EMC Asia-Pacific and Japan, the company had customers among which a handshake level was reached and soon they might become adopters of Vblock.

Such partnership will help get on the right side of Asian customers that are planning to remove their legacy data centers with a virtualized computing environments.

With the help of BOT model providers finance and build a project and compensate their investment cash flows that are formed by the completed project over an agreed period of time. So it means that Acadia’s BOT services will provide financing for its customers while the joint venture will help build complex systems that are based on customer’s demand.

According to Andre Smit, managing director of data center sales at Cisco Asia-Pacific, he is satisfied with the work of the partnership as it provides continuous vendor accountability.
