Nikon D3S Appeared in the Indian Market
One can say that imaging technology reached a higher level due to the Nikon D3S that was released in the Indian market by Hidehiko Tanaka, Managing Director, Nikon India and actor Neil Nitin Mukesh.
The D3S has the ISO levels ranging from 200 to 12,800. It comes with a12.1 megapixel sensor, it is able to show a refreshed movie capturing capability with the large FX-format sensor and boast of wide aperture NIKKOR lenses. It is able to capture 720p videos at 24fps in motion JPEG together with stereo sound with a good quality.
It can deliver faster focus on quick and erratic subject movements due to 51-point Multi-CAM3500 AF system. Also such system offers autofocus while movie capture or Live View. Users are able to select among three crop modes such as 5:4 (30×24), 1.2x (30×20), and DX (24×16).
The D3S is equipped with new RAW processing options that can be found in its Retouch menu. The image settings can be used with RAW (NEF) files in the camera on the go- JPEG compression, Size, White Balance, Exposure Compensation, Picture Control, Noise Reduction, Color space and Vignette Control settings.
The Nikon D3S can be acquired for Rs. 2,89,950. One can find it at 800 Nikon retail points from December 2009.
