Nokia Releases Three CDMA Phones in the Chinese Market

The 6316s is a 3G slider phone that is equipped with a 2.2-inch display and a 2-megapixel camera. Moreover it was preloaded specifically for china with e-mail application.

As for 3806, it is considered to be a standard CDMA monoblock phone that is featured with a 2.2-inch display and a 2-megapixel camera. It is preloaded with Health Assistant application that is shipped with the phone, according to Nokia.

It will be possible to purchase the Nokia 6316s and the Nokia 3806 during the first quarter of 2010. But still the prices are not known.

The 1506 is the third among the three phones. It will be available for 300 renminbi (US$44). It is considered to be the cheapest CDMA phone. According to Nokia the Chinese customers will be able to purchase it before the end of the year.

Nokia released its first smartphone for China Mobile’s 3G network on October 27.

It is not surprising that China is a big market and without doubts Nokia wants a significant piece of it.
