Official : Update 2.2 (froyo) for HTC Android Desire from this weekend in Europe
Till yesterday it was a rumor but it becomes official today and thanks to a statement from HTC itself where it is said that from this weekend Desire HTC terminal can start receiving the update to Android 2.2 or also known as Froyo.
With this update you can add support for video recording at 720p and miscellaneous improvements to the interface itself HTC Sense. The bad news is that this upgrade is only for the free end and as happened to the HTC Hero, the HTC Desire which was marketed through operators will have to wait several more weeks due to the different tests they are subjected, as it says HTC.
This update does not erase any data from the terminal but due to the size it is advisable to make the update using a wireless connection. In addition to including all own implementations of Android 2.2, as the new JIT which greatly improves system performance, also incorporates video recording at 720p, improved virtual keyboard, improved dialer and a new widget. Also you can sync music with iTunes through HTC Sync.As we see good and bad news at the same time but look forward to hearing what happened to other terminals.
