Samsung Achieved Success in Selling

samsung-star-s5230According to Samsung, the company sold its 50 million touchscreen device. One should note that within a year the company achieved big success in selling its devices, i.e. last year it was amounted 10 million items, this year it is 50 million devices, so one can observe the big difference.

The stellar sales performance will warrant that ensure surpasses its 2009 sales target of 200 million mobile phones by mean of a fair margin.

At present touchscreen devices calculate 20 percent of Samsung’s phone sales. Only 5 percent was in 2008. Samsung’s success can be imputed to the release of a lot of mid-range touchscreen devices that offer a good mix of multimedia features, connectivity and social networking capabilities at a reasonable price.

For that reason such devices as the Star S5230, (sold 10 million units) the F480(9 million) as well as the S3650 Corby(3 million units already) found the market. Such phones as Omnia and the Pixon also [played a big part agglutination Samsung’s place as the leader of touchscreen devices

Samsung sold its share of touch devices in Europe, i.e. 19 million units, leaving behind .S. (6.3 million), China (3.4 million) and South Korea (3.0 million). But the question is in the following, will Samsung keep its position during 2010?
