Samsung LTE Dongle Is Available in Sweden and Norway


samsung-4g-lte-dongleAt present Samsung Electronics announces that 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) dongle is available in Sweden and Norway.

TeliaSonera chose Samsung as its 4G device provider and it gave the model number to Samsung LTE dongles – GT-B3710.

Due to the service users will get download 100Mbps in 4G in Sweden and Norway that is much faster about 10 times if compare with the speed of the present ‘Turbo 3G’ service. It is expected that the TeliaSonera LTE will be the world’s first commercialization, the company is scheduling to broaden possibilities for users in order they can benefit high-speed data service on their laptops. Also users will get an opportunity to improve web TV broadcasting, online gaming and web conferencing

“We are very excited to be part of the world’s first LTE commercial service from TeliaSonera. It is a truly historic step forward in the mobile industry,” said JK Shin, executive vice president and head of the Mobile Communications Division at Samsung Electronics. He also added that Samsung would keep on providing most advanced mobile technology in order to meet the needs of consumers.

It is possible to connect the Samsung LTE dongle (GT-B3710) to a laptop or any other portable devices through a USB. The dongle is installed in Samsung’s LTE modem chip, also it backs up.6GHz band for LTE service.
