The cellular telephony market is one of the fastest growing sector in the world.
Taking advantage of its growth, US-based handset maker Motorola today said it will launch seven new handsets (out of which six would be a part of Motorola’s Yuva series) in the next three months in India.
This launch is in sync with the upcoming festive season. These new models will be ranging from Rs 3,500 and Rs 8,000 and will be catering to the low-end to mid segment.
Motorola India Country Head (Mobile Devices) Faisal Siddiqui said in a statement that these seven models would offer a range of features and would be reasonably priced.
New Delhi: Now smartphone lovers would be able to see Flash on their phones soon.
Until now, many smartphones and netbooks have used a “light” version of the program, because of the limited processing power of the devices.
Flash software is used to deliver around 75% of online video and is the key technology that underpins websites such as YouTube and Google Video.
The new software is intended to work as well on a smartphone as a desktop PC.
Adobe, the maker of Flash, said it should be available on most higher-end handsets by 2010, although Apple’s iPhone would continue to not use the software.
Flash is one of the most common pieces of software installed on computers.
Tata DoCoMo has brought comics over cell phone now. All Tata DoCoMo users who love to read comics will soon have access to their favorite comics on their phone. The service provider will soon vring to its user the application called Comix on the Go.
Owing to this application, Tata DoCoMo users will be able to enjoy popular comic series like Suppandi, Akbar Birbal, Manga, Disney, Mickey Mouse etc.
However, the only problem is users with Nokia models that are provided with the S60 user interface software will only be able to access this comics application.

London: Vodafone Group is getting ready to stock up iPhones and sell them in UK an dIreland from early 2010. Vodafone announced that they have signed an agreement with Apple Inc. for this very purpose.
The models Vodafone would be selling are iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS in these two regions. France Télécom’s Orange had also announced that it has left its close competitor Telefónica SA O2 to sell iPhone in UK. O2 had augmented the sales and increased revenue.

London: iPhone from Apple will have Orange selling it to its clients in the UK. Orange has the largest 3G network in UK than any other operator.
It will sell iPhone in all Orange direct channels including Orange shops, the Orange webshop and Orange telesales channels, as well as selected high street partners. The pricing and the date for the same have yet to be decided.
Britain is one of the few countries where the supply of iPhones is still limited to a single network. Same is the case in America, where telecoms giant AT&T still have exclusive iPhone rights but it is available from different providers – or even unlocked – in a number of other countries.
New networks will help the Californian technology to sell more handsets. It will also benefit Orange to increase its offerings ahead of a proposed merger with the UK arm of T-Mobile which would create the UK’s largest mobile network, and make iPhone as a product which would serve the cream of the crop.

Now the Korea Communications Commission has approved the sale of the iPhone device. The telecommunications regulator said it has given approval for Apple Inc.’s hit iPhone to be sold in the country.
