Lindsay Lohan’’s dad Michael Lohan has called upon her on/off girlfriend Samantha Ronson to convince the actress to go to rehab.

Although, Lohan senior had publicly lashed out at Ronson before the duo spilt this summer, he is sure the DJ can help Lindsay change her life.

“Maybe Samantha will help Lindsay turn her life around and get her into rehab. At least I know Samantha cares. Time is running out for Lindsay. We need to save her,” Contactmusic quoted Michael, as saying.

And he again blasted his ex-wife Dina for failing to help their daughter.

He said: “She tells me how bad the problem is with our daughter and in the same breath is avoiding the subject.

“She is a sick human being. Dina can continue to lie and avoid the truth, but I am going to continue to show what a liar she is. She can continue to make all the excuses she wants, but she can”t deal with the truth. We need to save Lindsay – and now,” Lohan senior added.

The actress is selling off second-hand clothes on her family’’s Web site, Lohanhouse.com.

And up for grabs is a pair of Stella McCartney black leather boots and jackets, jeans, hats and handbags, starting at 25 dollars.

However, not much is known if the star will be selling the infamous black, sequined, heart-shaped pasties she designed for Ungaro last fall, reports The New York Post.

Hollywood actress Lindsay Lohan has returned to the U.S. after a weeklong visit to India to shoot her documentary about the trafficking of women and children.

The Mean Girls star arrived in US on Dec 14.

“Lindsay is home from India now. I am so proud of her for going,” People magazine quoted Dina Lohan as saying.

The 23-year-old star insists her visit to India was “the most amazing time of my life.”

While in India, Lohan visited the Sanlaap women’’s and children’’s shelter outside Kolkata, which houses young women and girls who were victims of trafficking and other forms of exploitation.

She spent about three hours with residents and watched dance performances by the children.

She also donned a bindi after bonding with some of the girls, who wore bindis themselves.

Lohan took to Twitter to espouse the virtues of helping those less fortunate.

Visiting India was “the most amazing time of my life,” she wrote. “Focusing on celebrities and lies is so disconcerting, when we can be changing the world one child at a time…. hope everyone can see that.”

Hollywood actress Lindsay Lohan has been attacked by an Indian charity after she claimed she saved the lives of 40 children on the first day of her visit to the sub-continent.

According to the charity, which organized the raid, Lohan was not in India while the raid was on, reports The Telegraph.

The Mean Girls star visited India to make a BBC documentary about child trafficking.

And, after reaching the destination, she claimed to have had rescued 40 child labourers in New Delhi in just one day.

However, the charity blasted the actress, insisting neither Lohan, 23, nor the BBC, were present during the raid.

In a series of posts on Twitter, Lohan said: “Over *40 children saved* so far…… Within one day’’s work…… This is what life is about….. Doing THIS is a life worth living!!!”

She later added: “Focusing on celebrities and lies is so disconcerting, when we can be changing the world one child at a time…. hope everyone can see that.”

A leading social activist and lawyer, known only as Bhuwan, of the campaign group Bachpan Bachao Andolan, blasted her, saying: “She was not even in the country when this raid happened.

“We”ll be complaining to the BBC and talking to our lawyers … Would Lohan know where these workshops are?”

Ruchira Gupta, an anti-trafficking campaigner, said: “If celebrities do it to get publicity then they are trivialising child-trafficking.”

A BBC spokesman said: “Lindsay Lohan has just completed filming in India for a BBC Three project on child trafficking. We would like to stress that she did not say she was present at the raid, this is a misinterpretation. She was merely referring to a raid that happened connected to child trafficking – the subject of the programme.

“It is not uncommon for well known faces to be involved in current affairs programmes and often helps engage younger audiences with subjects they don”t traditionally go to such as international affairs. The final documentary will have all the hallmarks of BBC content – and will be high quality, informative and engaging.”

‘Mean Girls’ star Lindsay Lohan is said to have found a new man, Gucci model Adam Senn.

Senn, who is a partial owner of Chelsea eatery Il Bastardo, had met Lohan, 23, during the Fashion Week in NYC.

“They really hit it off,” the New York Daily News quoted a source as saying.

“The last time Lindsay was in town, Adam shut down the restaurant early so they could be alone. He invited some friends to the restaurant later in the evening and everyone got pretty wild. He thinks Lindsay is a fun girl.

“He was totally bewildered and couldn”t believe it. Eventually Pascal said she could have 2000 dollars to spend but that was the absolutely limit,” the insider revealed.

Lohan then tried to bargain with the Kitson staffer that was helping her through the store and insisted that the boutique should let her take the remaining items for free.

In exchange, she offered to “come in the next day and carry bags out so the paps could take shots”.

“The owner (Fraser Ross) couldn”t be reached so they told Lindsay just to take the 2000 dollars worth and come in the next day and speak with him about the rest,” the insider added.

But Lohan could not be placated and a friend of hers got involved and said that it was the least Kitson could do seeing as the actress had been such a loyal customer over the years.

But Ross still couldn”t be reached and a sulking Lohan was simply told no.

Troubled Hollywood singer-actress Lindsay Lohan is reportedly back to dating guys after splitting from her DJ lesbian partner Samantha Ronson.

Contactmusic.com reports, following her recent break-up with DJ girlfriend Samantha Ronson, the “Mean Girls” star is said to be seriously considering buying a home in the British capital to escape the unwanted media attention in America.

“I like (London’s) Notting Hill a lot. I also often stay with a friend in Chelsea. I’d move there. I prefer London to New York. The people are less judgmental,” she said.

Hollywood singer-actress Lindsay Lohan has sparked rumours that she has signed to appear topless in a new Las Vegas stage act.

The “Mean Girls” star, 22, reportedly flew to Sin City, as Las Vegas is called, on April 18 to attend the grand opening of a striptease production “Peepshow” and meet with its creator, Broadway director-choreographer Jerry Mitchell, reports contactmusic.com.

The show features celebrities in rotating lead roles and Lohan is in talks with Mitchell to take over from actress Kelly Monaco when the star leaves the show to return to US soap opera “General Hospital”.
