MTS rolls out telephony services in Delhi NCR

Gurgaon: MTS has launched its services in Delhi NCR presenting to Delhi subscribers the innovative tariff plan Power of One with per second billing and announced availability of MTS mobile high speed data services in Delhi in October.

For the first time in the Delhi mobile telecom market MTS has made available for NCR customers the innovative tariff plan Power of One with full talk-time for life, plus 1-second billing, and local calls at just 1 paisa per second.

Within the plan STD calls will be charged at 2 paisa per second. Full talk-time will be available on MTalk, on all recharges including even mini-recharges of Rs.10/- and Rs.20/-.

Moreover, customers can also choose to get 50% off on local calls, 50% off on STD calls, and 100 SMSes every day, at nominal Msaver rentals of just Rs.1 per day for each

MTS has the biggest services network in Delhi NCR for specially designed for high-speed data which includes over 600 BTS. MTS mobile high speed data services, called MBlaze, will become available for MTS Delhi subscribers in October this year.

Mr Sanjay Bahl, Chief Operating officer of MTS India, Delhi and NCR, added “MTS provides subscribers with unparallel voice clarity, unmatched high speed data services and a bouquet of innovative VAS services.”

He said further, “Besides the innovative tariff plan Power of One which, on an average, adds 25% to the value of your recharge compared to per minute plans, we have prepared a special promotion offer for the Delhi launch called Minute Millionaires.

Further he said We offer 10, 000, 00 minutes of talk time free through the M Card. MTS products are available at 16000 retail outlets across Delhi NCR, and the number of outlets will increase substantially by year end”.

Taking advantage of its growth, US-based handset maker Motorola today said it will launch seven new handsets (out of which six would be a part of Motorola’s Yuva series) in the next three months in India.

This launch is in sync with the upcoming festive season. These new models will be ranging from Rs 3,500 and Rs 8,000 and will be catering to the low-end to mid segment.

Motorola India Country Head (Mobile Devices) Faisal Siddiqui said in a statement that these seven models would offer a range of features and would be reasonably priced.

New Delhi: Now smartphone lovers would be able to see Flash on their phones soon.

Until now, many smartphones and netbooks have used a “light” version of the program, because of the limited processing power of the devices.

Flash software is used to deliver around 75% of online video and is the key technology that underpins websites such as YouTube and Google Video.

The new software is intended to work as well on a smartphone as a desktop PC.

Adobe, the maker of Flash, said it should be available on most higher-end handsets by 2010, although Apple’s iPhone would continue to not use the software.

Flash is one of the most common pieces of software installed on computers.

Tata DoCoMo has brought comics over cell phone now. All Tata DoCoMo users who love to read comics will soon have access to their favorite comics on their phone. The service provider will soon vring to its user the application called Comix on the Go.

LG confirms coming on LG New Chocolate BL20 phone on O2

LG-New-Chocolate-BL20There has been official confirmation from LG that the latest model in the New Chocolate Series, the BL20 will soon be on its way to stores.

The12.3mm thick phone with slider keypad features red colored touch sensitive controls which light up when the phone is opened. Also it sports a 5 mega pixel camera with flash and autofocus.

For the memory, it can be extended up to 16GB with a Micro SD card.

Some of the newly added features that were absent in the previous edition are Widget Hotkeys and Clear Memo Capture. Widget Hotkeys let its users personalize their homepage using shortcut widgets while Clear Memo Capture allows capturing of text, handwritten stuff etc. with ultimate clarity.

Samsung Galaxy i7500 introduced together by Samsung and Tata DoCoMo

Mumbai: The all new Samsung Galaxy i7500 handset will be launched by Samsung and Tata DoCoMo jointly. Samsung and Tata DoCoMo have teamed up launch Samsung’s first Android-based mobile phone.

The Galaxy i7500 is slim and compact and is apt for tech-savvy consumers. The cutting edge of this phone is that it comes preloaded with Google Mobile services along with all other advanced features.

“Tata DoCoMo is a young brand that recently rolled out GSM services across eight circles (so far),” said Deepak Gulati, President, Tata DoCoMo.

The handset is said to feature a 3.2-inch AMOLED touch screen display, 5 megapixel camera, offers support for 7.2 Mbps HSDPA and WiFi connectivity with access to Google Mobile Services and other Internet sites at a faster speed.

iPhone in South Korea now

Now the Korea Communications Commission has approved the sale of the iPhone device. The telecommunications regulator said it has given approval for Apple Inc.’s hit iPhone to be sold in the country.

With Apple’s IPhone becoming a favorite all over the world by gadget lovers, South Korea was keenly awaiting for the same to enter its country soon.

South Korea’s telecommunications industry is dominated by Samsung Electronics Co., LG Electronics Inc. and other domestic manufacturers.
