Madhur Bhandarkar’s latest film released today. Before this, a plea filed in the High Court by a lady called Sushila Sharma crying that Jail was based on her film was rejected.
Apparently, Sharma’s movie never saw light of the day. So there was no basis to confirm any copyright violation.
Madhur’s lawyers were quick to point out that if the movie promos were running since past two months why did the lady wait to file the plea a day before the release of the movie.
In addition, HC judges observed this as a clear case of blackmail just before the movie could hit theatres.
Mumbai: It has been in the news that the young couple of Bollywood, Deepika Padukone and Ranvir kapoor broke up and it was also being rumored that Katrina,the reason behind the split.
Whatever may be the reason, Ranvir’s mom Neetu seems to be happy with it. Though Deepika dated with Ranvir and the two shared a cool relation, Deepika was never liked by the Kapoors.
If the sources are not wrong,Neetu singh considered Deepika just another girl friend of Ranvir and also said that the two are two young to get married and it is also not sure that they will share the same relation forever.

Mumbai: Bollywood Superstar Amitabh Bachchan’s next coming movie Paa’s first look is released now. This movie is being directed by Chini Kum director R Balki.
Amitab is playing the role of a man who is facing progeria, a rare disease in which the child ages rapidly. He The teeth and eyes also suffer.
The character is mentally 13 years old but very normal at the same time physically he looks 5 times older.
Big B fans are waiting for the movie, that would be released by next year.

Reality television show Big Boss 3 has got bigger this year with the presence of pop philosopher – Amitabh Bachchan who says that it’s time for Big Boss Tritiya.
The superstar who quizzed his way into Indian television with Kaun Banega Crorepati in 2000, returns as ‘pop philosopher’ for the third season of Big Boss improving the aesthetics of the show.
Everything comes at a price and so we have the host charging an enormous fee of Rs 10 crore for the show.
Bachchan’s references to his father’s poetry gave the show a new height and he was seen enjoying playing the part of a host, welcoming the participants on board, flirting lightly and making them comfortable.
Mumbai: Though, he isn’t yet evicted from the charges against him, actor Shiney Ahuja can at last breath peace as he gets bail.
After twice his bail plea was rejected, as his maid alleged him of forcefully raping her, Shiney had collapsed in the Mumbai High court last week. Shiney had to pay Rs.50,000 for getting the bail.
His lawayer Shirish Gupte informed “There is no clear evidence that Shiney had raped his maid”.
The Gangster actor was arrested on 15th June when his domestic maid put an FIR against him for raping her at his residence in the suburban Oshiwara. The actor kept insisting that he had consensual sex with the maid who later accused him of rape.
The court has asked the actor to submit his passport till the investigations are on.
Chennai: Pazhassiraja which is being made in three languages has big players lending voices for the dubbing. Shah Rukh Khan is voicing it for the hindi version. The film has 45 second long prologue.
Written by MT Vasudevan Nair, Pazhassiraja, is about a young freedom fighter. The film is directed by veteran director Hariharan. Mammootty plays the character of Pazhassiraja and Sarath Kumar is in the role of his deputy. To be dubbed in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi, Pazhassiraja is already creating a buzz.
While Kamal Haasan, lends his voice for the Tamil prologue, Shah Rukh Khan would be doing it in Hindi. Pazhassiraja would have a 45-second prologue. Actor Mohanlal gives his voice for Malayalam.
Producer Gokulam Gopalan informs “The historical needs an introduction
and what better voice than Kamal Haasan in Tamil and King Khan in Hindi. The audiences are familiar with their voices and trusts them.”
Mumbai: “When Ayan narrated the script – it was a 4-hour marathon session – I knew I had to be a part of it. Nothing else mattered. All I knew was, I had to do this film. That was the impact of its story,” Ranbir says.
Karan Johar feels that Ranbir is supremely talented actor and has done a remarkable job in ‘Wake Up Sid’. “Ranbir has the power to hold a scene, which very few actors can boast of. Also, his choice of films is incredible. He’s extremely courageous,” Karan states.
Even after the miserable failure of Saawariya, Ranbir’s debut film, Ranbir didn’t go unnoticed with the audiences. His performance in Bachna Ae Haseeno was appreciated and audiences loved him.
Ranbir’s choice of films is very versatile. ‘Wake Up Sid’ is about young age film, whereas there is the romantic comedy lined up for him called as Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani.
Another black comedy called ‘Rocket Singh’ and an intense ‘Rajneeti’ are the different movies the Kapoor boy will be seen in.
“I never made a conscious decision. I received several offers, but I chose to do films that would appeal to me first and foremost,” Ranbir reveals.
Ranbir Kapoor surely has the charm and charisma of the Kapoor khaandan heritage.
Mumbai: Prasoon Joshi, the lyricist, paid tribute to Lata Mangeshkar claiming he would like to be the male Lata Mangeshkar.
He has started his career with the movie Lajja which didn’t connect well with the audiences. Joshi had written the song “Kaun dagar kaun shehar tu chali kahan” in the movie.
He expresses his gratitude by saying that he owes the film Rekha as she had heard him in the albums with Shubha Mudgal, Mann ke manjire and Ab ke saawan prior to that.
When he got a call from Rajkumar Santoshi, the director of the film, he was shooting for an ad in Filmcity. On the very first day of meeting the wonder voice woman, he realised that working with her would be a totally different experience because her generation really cared for poetry.
She read the songs a number of times and she took her time with them. They had to split the recording over a two-day schedule.
Many years after that, he was given Rang De Basanti’s Luka chhupi.., which was a special song because it had a mother mourning her son at the funeral pyre and recreating a game of hide-and-seek with her son, who’s been hidden forever with Lata.
When she arrived, she caught him humming the song and said: “Oh you should sing. Why don’t you sing professionally? Aap gaate kyon nahin hai… aap bahut achcha gaate hain.”
The maestro, AR Rahman, also commented that he had been advising Joshi for the same. The rest of the recording in Chennai was spent with chatters and discussions.
Hollywood: Sara Anjuli Forman, singer of the only Sanskrit rock band of the world Shanti Shanti, married John Patrick Gracey in a traditional Catholic ceremony in Reno (Nevada, USA) on September 26 evening.
Shanti Shanti released their sixth album titled “Veda” on the oldest scripture of the world Vedas.
This groundbreaking work, which took one year to complete involving extensive research, contains shlokas (hymns) from all four Vedas—Rig-veda, Sama-veda, Atharva-veda, and Yajur-veda; some as old as 1,500 BCE.

Mumbai: One would say director Ashutosh Gowariker is quite a risk-taker when he signed up Harman Baweja for his upcoming release What’s Your Raashee?
Gowariker in the past has worked with big names in Bollywood namely Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan and Hrithik Roshan. In addition, his films with these bigwigs have been far from a romantic comedy that What’s Your Raashee? promises to be.
But, its not Gowariker alone who supports his choice of Harman for his latest directorial venture. Apparently Baweja was also his wife Sunita’s choice for the movie.
They both were completely bowled over by his innocent charms in Love Story 2050 and felt he best suited the character in What’s Your Raashee?
Apart from Gowariker and his wife, another person rallying for Harman Baweja is the producer of the film, Ronnie Screwvala who feels that a few flops at the box office does not mean an actor is bad. He vouches for Harma;s dedication to work and talent.
Well, with so much support from his film camp Harman’s sure poised to go a long way.
