The FlipShare TV Appeared in the Market
On Wednesday Cisco launched the FlipShare TV, it is a wireless device that streams high-definition video kept in a PC or Mac to a TV.
The set-top box connects to the TV by means of an HDMI cable that is bundled to the device.
The dongle and console are made in such a way that it is possible to communicate wirelessly. The video that is kept on the computer can be streamed to the TV. The FlipShare TV comes with a remote control in order one can click through video via the device’s TV interface.
The new product can operate with FlipShare 5.0. Due to the software one can organize, edit, and share video online on YouTube.
Furthermore, FlipShare 5.0 is able to load video to Flip’s FlipChannel service that helps people share video over the Internet. In case a user wants to watch video online, the content must be streamed to the home computer.
FlipShare TV is available for $150. Cisco decided to draw its attention towards the consumer market for some time. The company purchased Pure Digital Technologies and its easy-to-use Flip Video camera for $590 million in stock.
The device comes with a USB connector that can be easily inserted in PCs and other devices.
