Transcend released its first portable CD/DVD writer for laptops and netbooks. The new 8X slim portable CD/DVD writer was created to operate with both existing and coming systems.

It is easy to carry the new CD/DVD writer from one place to another.

It is based on USB which means that a user should not utilize external power adapter.

The CD/DVD writer is equipped with a full-featured copy of the media writing software known as CyberLink Power2Go.

It is possible to do all types of writing and editing on CDs and DVDs by means of software tools. Furthermore, one can place and compile the media files through an easy software interface.

The device is compatible with the new Windows 7 operating system as well as upcoming OS. It supports8X DVD and 24X CD write speeds and has recordable DVD media formats.

It is provided with a two-year warranty and one can avail the new CD/ DVD Writer for Rs 4,300.
